Blizzard president Mike Ybarra recently confirmed Warcraft has the most new things to reveal at BlizzCon in November. Fans of the World of Warcraft universe won’t want to miss what Blizzard has to show off at the upcoming convention.

BlizzCon is Blizzard’s iconic convention where it reveals new releases for its various games. This year, BlizzCon is taking place on November 3 and 4 in Anaheim, California, and is the first in-person convention the company has held since before COVID-19.

In a comment on his personal Twitter account, Ybarra confirmed Warcraft will have the most new stuff to show off at BlizzCon. After seeing the layout of the BlizzCon convention, fan and Twitter user SaltySlickrock expressed concern that it seemed like Warcraft was being given less space to use than its other games. However, Ybarra pointed out it was just the way the graphic was designed–if one takes a closer look, the space shared by World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft Rumble, and the Darkmoon Faire is bigger than any of the other individual halls–and said the franchise has the biggest announcements of the event.

With Chris Metzen back as the creative director of Warcraft, it is no surprise Blizzard has a lot to reveal about it. A new World of Warcraft expansion will almost certainly be among the reveals, as will something new for WoW Classic. According to the diagram, Hearthstone also has something new to demo, and Warcraft Rumble will probably be released sometime around the convention’s launch as well. Without a doubt, BlizzCon is going to be huge for Warcraft fans.

Despite this, Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 fans will have plenty to look forward to at BlizzCon as well. Though little is known about what Diablo 4 will show off there, Overwatch 2 will be revealing its new tank hero and has a second hall dedicated to the Overwatch World Cup. Unfortunately, StarCraft does not appear to be at BlizzCon, so fans shouldn’t expect to hear anything about it this year.

It is no exaggeration to say this could be Blizzard’s most important BlizzCon yet. In addition to being its first post-pandemic convention, this will be the first BlizzCon since its lawsuits and controversies, many of which involved misconduct from developers during previous BlizzCons. All of Blizzard’s IPs are currently contending with problems of their own, and this is the first BlizzCon to not sell out its tickets immediately. If Blizzard wants to regain the good faith of its communities, it likely needs to nail this year’s BlizzCon.
