A Dark Souls player known as Altruistic-Ride-1902 on Reddit shared an impressive clip of them defeating Gwyn, Lord of Cinder in a wildly quick takedown. When it comes to bosses in Dark Souls games, Gwyn, Lord of Cinder is notoriously difficult to beat, but Altruistic-Ride-1902 just walks in and quickly takes them down in four swift blows.
Altruistic-Ride-1902 stated in the comments of the Reddit post they shared that they originally intended to one-shot kill Gwyn, but this four-strike kill is still a great victory worth celebrating. Gwyn is one of the hardest Dark Souls bosses to grace the franchise, and taking them down in only four strikes is no small feat. Not only is it impressive to kill Gwyn in less than five strikes, but it’s the pure effortlessness of Altruistic-Ride-1902’s attacks. For Gwyn to be one of the most difficult Dark Souls bosses, this gamer doesn’t even seem to break a sweat, cutting through them like butter. There was likely a lot of preparation and practice that went into this accomplishment, and it paid off in a very cool way.
