- Elden Ring is filled with secret content that is easy to miss, as demonstrated by one player recently encountering a unique piece of Latenna dialogue that they had never heard before in 250 hours of playing time.
- The dialogue sees Latenna encourage The Tarnished to press on toward Castle Sol, which houses the key to accessing one of the most well-hidden locations in Elden Ring.
One Elden Ring player came across an interesting piece of Latenna The Albinauric dialogue that they had never heard before in 250 hours of playing time. Their discovery testifies to the fact that Elden Ring is filled to the brim with secret content that no single player is ever likely to completely uncover on their own.
Warning! Minor Elden Ring gameplay spoilers (Consecrated Snowfield unlock method) ahead.Latenna The Albinauric is one of the many allies that players can summon using the Elden Ring Spirit Ashes. She is a fairly unique companion in that she cannot move like a typical NPC. Despite her lack of mobility, she is equipped with an extremely powerful bow that boasts an immense range and does devastating damage. As a result, making the most of Latenna’s abilities requires some careful consideration, as she’s at her best when strategically deployed as more of a turret than a typical combatant.

It turns out that her skill set is not the only thing that makes her unique, as recently discovered by one fan who stumbled upon a seemingly rare dialogue tidbit from Latenna that they had never heard before in their 250 hours of playing time. The scene found by Reddit user shiro_tanzanite sees Latenna reflect on The Tarnished’s quest to obtain the two Haligtree Secret Medallions in Elden Ring.
The dialogue can apparently trigger when the player is at the foot of the Mountaintops of the Giants, where Latenna will sometimes announce herself and encourage The Tarnished to carry on. “We’re almost there,” she proclaims, adding that Castle Sol housing “the other medallion” is but a short way to the north. The emblem she’s referring to is the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left), one of the many Key Items in Elden Ring that grants access to the Consecrated Snowfield when used with the Grand Lift of Rold in the Forbidden Lands.
We’re almost there. Castle Sol lies just off to the north, where the other medallion is housed. It will grant passage to the land of the Haligtree.
Thousands of people promptly voted to send shiro_tanzanite’s discovery to the front page of the r/EldenRing subreddit, suggesting many players have never encountered this unique piece of dialogue, either. The remarks themselves are more than mere throwaway lines, as Latenna uses them to actively encourage The Tarnished to find the left Haligtree medallion, which is the only way to access the Consecrated Snowfield, one of the most well-hidden Elden Ring locations.
Although the Consecrated Snowfield is extremely easy to miss, taking the time to unlock and explore it is more than worth it. Namely, this snowy location happens to house several extremely powerful items and smithing materials that will make Elden Ring a whole lot easier.
