A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail has revealed the in-game model for Hanabi, a brand-new Quantum unit that will arrive in version 1.6. Honkai: Star Rail gears up to introduce a roster of playable characters, including the five-star Hanabi who follows the Harmony Path. Based on the leaks, her support-based kit will boost all allies’ HP and ATK for several turns. The upcoming character will supposedly restore skill points to allies, which hints that she will take on the healer role. Aside from Hanabi, Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 will bring two new characters from the Genius Society, Ruan Mei and Screwllum.
Honkai: Star Rail will soon release the version 1.4 update, which features a lot of content from story missions and gacha banners to limited-time events. Players will be introduced to new units Topaz and Jingliu, each having their ability kit and personality. They will participate in a series of events to collect rewards and upgrade their team with new banners. One of the major highlights of version 1.4 is also Honkai: Star Rail‘s launch on the PS5 platform. If everything goes according to the six-week patch cycle, version 1.4 will be released worldwide on October 11.

A new Honkai: Star Rail leak from stepleaker showed the in-game model for Hanabi, a five-star Quantum character that will be released in version 1.6. It looks like Hanabi wears a red dress decorated with a golden thread and daisy patterns. The character will allegedly appear on a loading screen, where she wears a skin-colored goofy mask made up of black glasses, a red nose, and facial hair. It has already been leaked that Hanabi is a member of the Masked Fools, a mysterious organization devoted to Honkai Star Rail‘s Aha The Elation. It’s no surprise that she puts on a mask that makes her look like a mascot.
Honkai: Star Rail players on the Reddit thread expressed their thoughts on Hanabi’s design, with some claiming that she looks better with the mask. Her colorful dress and accessories make the character look stylish, reminding some people of Genshin Impact‘s Hu Tao. It’s worth noting that Hanabi is still early in the works, which means this in-game model can change at any time.
There isn’t any concrete information about Hanabi’s story and abilities yet. Some recent leaks revealed that she will have a five-star rarity and follow the Harmony path. She will probably be a support character who can improve her team’s defensive capabilities. Hanabi will appear in Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6, which will be released in early 2024.
